Two group standards officially released
The Inspection Specification for Dynamic Capacity-increasing Monitoring Devices for Transmission Lines (T/SMA 0018-2021) and the Inspection Specification for Intelligent Management Devices for Dynamic Load of Transformers (T/SMA 0019-2021), organized by the Electric Power Professional Committee of Shanghai Metrology Association, with Shanghai Haineng Information Technology Co., Ltd. as its editor-in-chief and some network provincial companies of the three major national power grids, were officially released on August 2, 2021 and implemented on August 16, 2021.

User Feedback-Shanghai Pudong Power Supply Company Applies Dynamic Capacity Increase Monitoring System to Improve Power Supply Capacity of Distribution Lines
"The maximum load current of 10 kV to 16 Huanglou lines is 321 amperes, which is close to full load operation, but the conductor temperature is far from reaching the specified limit value, and the actual capacity can be increased by 22.7." On August 7, in the lobby of the power supply service command center of Shanghai Pudong Power Supply Company, the staff were exchanging feedback data from the dynamic capacity increase monitoring system. Due to the installation of dynamic capacity increase monitoring system for several heavy-duty lines in Pudong area, the operation condition data of the lines can be transmitted to the dispatching and operation personnel in real time, effectively alleviating the power supply shortage during the peak summer period.
